Disco ball: Glass and hand-ground impact glass (glass produced when meteorite strikes the Earth and melts surrounding sand), Styrofoam, glue

Soundtrack: T. Rex’s “Cosmic Dancer” and “Life’s a Gas” mixed with "space sounds” picked up by NASA’s Cassini space probe of solar winds as they crashed into the magnetic field enveloping Jupiter on Dec. 8, 2000, and a recording of a meteorite as it pierced the Earth’s atmosphere picked up at an observatory in 1999
